Spar Customs Productions brings Dale Watson & His Lone Stars to Pour House Oceanside Dec 5th
Spar Customs Productions is bringing the Legendary Dale Watson & His Lone Stars to the Pour House Oceanside Dec 5th.
Also the sweet sounds of the Honky Tonk Angel Rosy Nolan w her band opening, starting 7PM.
Dale Watson is an award-winning hardest working real country music musician and producer who has been creating music and performing live for over 40 years. He has shared the stage with such icons as Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, and Kris Kristofferson, just to name a few. He has been seen on David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel, and Austin City Limits, but most of the time, he is touring the world, killing it for his fans, keeping the country music roots sound alive. With over 30 albums and singles, Dale knows his way around the recording studio, which is why he built Watsun Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, complete with the 1937 board from Sun Studio.
Most known for his classic anthem-like hit "I Lie When I Drink" Dale's music ranges from swing to Honky Tonk and Rockabilly, and even scored the movie "Yellow Rose." His instrumental album "Memphians" was recorded at the Wat-Sun Studio for that most authentic sound.
As an actor, he was honored to work with Stephen King and John Mellencamp on the Musical Ghost Brothers of Starkland County, starred in the film Yellow Rose, and appeared in and contributed his voice to multiple nationwide commercials.
His lifelong respect and love of original country music are the foundation for all his music and his Ameripolitan Awards, which celebrate young up-and-coming country artists and legends. The Awards focus on Honky Tonk, Rockabilly, Western Swing, and Outlaw Country Music. Awards go to singer-songwriters, DJs, venues, Festivals, and musicians from those genres. Voting is comprised of fans and industry professionals, resulting in a much anticipated evening for over 10 years.
Currently, Dale continues to do what he loves... tour his ass off, write music, be in the studio, and spend time with friends and his wife, Celine.
Don't miss this chance to see him in an intimate setting and his first N County Show with us. This will be a special Thursday Scene and it's always great working with Dale and we appreciate his friendship. Spar Customs has been making merch for Dale and his Ameripolitan Awards show in Austin for years.
See you at the Pour House.

Spar Customs presents Petunia & the Vipers at Pour House OSide Nov 7th
Spar Customs presents Petunia & the Vipers at Pour House OSide Nov 7th with the Westwinders.
Tickets at sparcustoms.com
Show is only $12 for this International Act and double bill pre sale.
If you havent seen or heard Petunia and the Vipers please check them out. Its a flashback in time of the old Honky Tonk life and fusion of Americana styles.
After touring for the past decade to the UK, Canada and parts of the USA, world acclaimed Petunia and the Vipers make another breakout tour, with their last four album releases all going to #1 on the Canadian Folk/Blues/Americana charts. Louis Armstrong was once asked what his favorite kind of music was, and his response was simple; “Good music”. Petunia & the Vipers’ sound may not sit comfortably in one certain genre, but “Good Music” describes it well. Together with his band the Vipers they play original music combining elements of classic 1920’s, 30’s 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s country, country blues, western swing, alt country rock, Mexicana, French cabaret, Romanian, ragtime, jazz, punk and folk music’s. A new music that springboards off of music of the past and jumps into the present day, left with only echoes of the past… Something in between 1920’s and steam punk.
Petunia is no stranger to being a “road dog”. He’s spent most of the last 23 years crisscrossing sections of Europe, North and South America, playing his old hobo haunts, hitch hiking junctions, street corners, dive bars, churches and run down theatres. He’s more than just an entertainer, he’s a modern musical enigma. Imagine that David Lynch and Nick Cave had a hillbilly baby, that yodeled… or Tom Waits meets Elvis at Woody Guthrie’s hobo junction. This is just one way of describing the man known simply as Petunia. He’s an adventure seeker, a poker player, and a mysterious stranger. He’s been referred to as “The Savior of Country Music”, and a man who exists in a different era, bringing the past forth as something new to be celebrated and not forgotten. A restless wanderer, a musical historian, and a quirky yet amazing talent, Petunia joins the greats from north of the 49th for his classic style and raucous performances. He is simply a Canadian treasure.
Trust us,
DONT MISS THIS SHOW!

Spar Customs Productions brings IV and the Strange Band with Possessed by Paul James to San Diego for a Paddys Day to remember Mar 17th 2024 at Cordova Bar
Spar Customs Productions brings IV and the Strange Band with Possessed by Paul James to San Diego for a Paddys Day to remember Mar 17th, 2024 at Cordova Bar.
IV (Four) and The Strange Band, fronted by Coleman Williams of the Hank Williams family legacy. Coleman is the great grandson of Hank Williams, grandson to Hank Williams Jr. and son of Hank III
Grab your pre sale tickets for just $20 while they last, this one is going to be on fire.
IV new album was produced by Shooter Jennings.
There are family traditions, and then there is the Williams Family Tradition. Beginning with the legendary Hank Williams, then his son, Hank Jr. and grandson, Hank 3, now the fourth generation of Williams (Coleman Williams or IV) is ready to take his place in the music world with his band, IV and the Strange Band.
IV was raised in Nashville in the early 90s before the explosion of what the city is now. The only son of Hank Williams III, IV was raised by his mother until his formative high school years which were spent with his father at Hank3’s “haunted ranch” going to punk and house shows and being driven by the heavy tones and sounds of progressive vocal driven music but still retaining a love for the southern country and blues legends. After high school, IV travelled the country which led to meeting more bands and expanding his musical tastes from country bands in Louisiana to doom metal bands in New Jersey.
Although being the first born son of the fourth generation of Williams is his legacy, but fulfilling a musical legacy is never what drove him as a person. After traveling the country, IV returned to Nashville to attend college and study English and literature with dreams of being a writer. After college, IV began teaching but over time he realized he didn’t enjoy the education route and got into working in the liquor business instead to make ends meet.
About this time, he became friends with Jason Dietz, a local producer, who became a personal friend and musical ally. Even though IV had been writing songs his entire life and grew up singing, he had never really had a project to express his true voice. Additionally, he had reservations about ever being like the rest of his family wanting to forge his own path. He had even kept his family history as a need to know among friends. He just wanted to be in the backdrop of the music scene to take it all in the right way.
Jason would help to change that as would musician Joe Buck with whom IV has developed his style of guitar playing. This all led to IV meeting the group of musicians he needed for what is now dubbed the “Strange Band”. His now lead guitar player David Talley with Jason Dietz on bass would become the core of IV and the Strange Band. Next came Laura Beth Jewell on Fiddle and Tylor Powell on drums to complete the band. Starting from IV’s acoustic songs, the band and IV collaborated to create the sound now that has come to define the project: 100 watt amps blended with fiddle, drums, and powerful vocal driven country hooks combining many diverse influences and different musical histories.
Being 29 and starting his music career seems an interesting time, but that exact age is when his great grandfather Hank Sr.’s life ended. IV had a vision and dream that couldn’t be obtained in the right way without this journey. Being handed a legacy is one thing to try, but IV is determined to earn it.
The first single, “Son of Sin”, is scheduled to be released on 4/20 via bandcamp and other streaming outlets.
