Boots to Suits 2: an Annual Vintage Scooter Weekender presented by Spar Customs Productions, SD Scooter Clan & Ace Garage in North County San Diego.
All Ages Event!
2 days of live ska,mod,soul,oi and more music genres with back road/coastal rides daily.
The 2nd annual will be held Oct 17th at Breakers Hawaiian Tiki Bar in Encinitas with Brick Top Blaggers(Celtic Punk), Amalgamated Ska, The Luxuries(Soul/Mod) with DJ's Dr Bones & Israelite playing 1 to 6pm.
Pre Sale just $15 at sparcustoms.com and includes a FREE Patch or Sticker. $20 at the door w patches/stickers for sale.
Oct 18th will be our Car/Music/Scooter Show at Windmill Food Hall in Carlsbad with our SD Soul/R & B friends the Tighten Ups playing noon to 4pm.
Saturday and Sunday ride details coming soon but the rides will meet at Breakers on Sat 8am with kicks up 9am for a 50 mile run through great back roads and back to Breakers by 1PM. The Luxuries will start at 1:30PM.
On Sunday the meet up will be at Windmill 9am, kicks up 10am for a coastal scoot and back to the Windmill by 12:30pm for the Tighten ups. A scoot ride after the event for those wanting a sunset coastal ride as well.

Spar Customs FREE Monthly Car/Music/Bike Show at Windmill Food Hall every 3rd Sunday.
Sept 20th: Dave Gleason bringing his amazing Blues and being a master of the tele for us.
Dozen food vendors, Vintage marketplace, packed house with FREE live music noon to 4pm and tons of unique Vintage Vehicles.
All ages, dog friendly and a great way to spend the day near the beach with friends and family.
The new section is limited to 35 vehicles and includes VIP parking, Raffle and a chance to take home one of the hand made Spar Customs awards for the various categories like Best in Show, Best Daily driver, Best Engine, Best paint, Best Interior, Best Wreck and Peoples Choice etc.
Having this lot just for those wanting to be in the
Car Awards allows for the people voting to easily know which vehicles are in the hunt and cast their choice.
To be part of the Awards just email dabbles@sparcustoms.com to register your vehicle. Day of cars are welcome if spaces available.

Spar Customs presents Dallas Moore and Ted Kamp at Breakers Tiki Bar
Spar Customs Productions presents another up close and personal meet and greet.
This time with Texas Troubadour Dallas Moore and Ted Russell Kamp at Breakers Private Tiki Bar the Hideout in Encinitas.
Dallas is one of the hardest touring artists we know w 300 dates a year , 17 albums and 25 years of playing. Dallas has played with the likes of Willie Nelson, ZZ Top and plenty more. He is known as Mr Honky Tonk and has some amazing stories from his decades of touring. Another Ameripolitan Award artist coming through our Spar shows for years.
As a bonus he always has the amazing Ted Russell Kamp with him on bass. He is also a legend in the country western world playing with a ton of artists and the bass player for Shooter Jennings.
Each time we work with these two the audience is blown away by their sound and talent so don't miss this one.
Breakers is located right off the 5 freeway in Encinitas with plenty of parking and a huge parking lot.
Come down for dinner and some delicious Tiki drinks , they do both very well and the staff is very friendly.
See you for an early Wednesday night show, music is 6 to 9pm and limited to 50 people at the Hideout Private Tiki Bar.

This organization does fantastic work helping our vets acquire housing, jobs, rehab and more. 100% of all funds go directly to Vets. If donating please be sure it's to the Inland Chapter.
The charity is funded by the Dept of Labor and VA so all your donations go directly to veterans.
We have an amazing double bill this year for music with our friends Big Sandy & the Flyrite Boys plus Deke Dickerson & the Whippersnappers playing noon to 4pm.
There will be a pin up contest, food vendors, marketplace, big silent auction, cars being given to veterans, beer garden and more. An easy drive up the 215 to March AFB.
This is a FREE show so please donate to their cause and help our veterans dealing with complicated issues .
Come out to meet our service members, enjoy an all ages fun filled day and show how much our Vets mean to you.

This will be a special night of the Rockin-est Drummer from the Stray Cats tearing up our night for all you Cats & Kittens so be sure to dress to impress and get ready to do some struttin!

Spar Customs is excited to finally announce the second show of our Official Ameripolitan On the Coast 2 Weekend w Dale Watson Aug 16th after our Car/Music Show at Windmill in Carlsbad noon to 4pm at Breakers Private Tiki Bar the Hideout in Encinitas.(481 Santa Fe dr, right off the 5 freeway)
We have been going there since they opened a year ago and can't wait to have a show at their amazing Hawaiian Themed Venue.
Owner and Pro Surfer Benji Weatherley has brought the Island Vibes to the location along with N County memorabilia like the red booths from Kenos and local style to keep it alive.
Many great artists have done pop up shows there this year including Jack Johnson, Slightly Stoopid, Iration and more.
This will be a very unique Meet and Greet Solo Show w Dale to talk about Ameripolitan in Texas 2027 along with showcasing many of his varied genres of guitar playing in a intimate live show.
The show will be limited to just 40 people and an up close and personal experience so grab your tickets before they are gone.
Doors will be at 6PM and music 7 to 9pm.

Spar Customs presents an Ameripolitan "On The Coast" Supporter Show w Dale Watson at Tio Leos
Spar Customs Productions is excited to bring back Dale Watson and a show we have discussed putting on for years in San Diego to support his Ameripolitan Music Award Charity.
This is an Ameripolitan "On The Coast" Fest featuring Dale and 7 other acts in the Ameripolitan genres of Outlaw, Western Swing, Rockabilly and Honky Tonk.
The Awards show has been running for a decade in Texas and Tennessee featuring amazing talent from around the world helping to build their names and keep these important genres of REAL COUNTRY MUSIC alive and kickin.
This first event will feature a wide range of S Ca acts that Spar Customs works with and feels have a special something going to make a full day of music, dancing and great times at Tio Leos.
The event doors will be at 2PM with the first act starting right at 230PM.
We will use Tio Leos unique layout with the indoor and outdoor stages to keep the music going all day with only 5 to 10 min breaks between. Once an act finishes the crowd can mosey on outside or inside to keep being entertained until 10PM.
* Dale Watson: No explanation needed for this Texas Troubadour Legend and his big range of musical styles in honky tonk, western, real country and more..
*West of Texas are Ameripolitan nominees and bring the Honky Tonk Roadhouse right at you with their originals and varied covers.
*Bodhi Corbett is a Spar favorite with his rowdy Americana Rock n Roll sound from days gone by and this kid knows how to make a joint jump.
* Lil Mo & the Lonesome Crows are a Hillbilly swing band with the old timey feel and sound to move the boots on the dance floor.
* Bad Banana is not to be missed if you love a fireball of a show with their Japanese Rockabilly style and exciting flair on stage. You will move those feet!
* June Clivas & the Ditty Boys add a variety of Western/Country Outlaw and Cow Punk to the show and always entertain.
* Twang Danglers Roadhouse Country have a smooth sound and know how to get a dance floor going throwing a range of styles and originals/hits into their sets.
* Ron Houston & the Berry pickers are gonna kick the day off on our outside stage with an outlaw billy sound that gets you in the right mood for a full day of Ameripolitan music. Start at 2:30PM sharp.
There will be FREE Dance Lessons going between each band and through the day to give you pointers and a perfect place to practice with so many others dancing nonstop. And no we Won't be doing any Line Dancing.
Grab your tickets early, we can only get so many people in Tio Leos and with 8 acts its going to be a packed house all day.
Come down early, each band has been picked for specific reasons and styles of music to give you an example of what Dale's Ameripolitan Awards Show is about.
There will be info on the 2027 Awards Show coming back and Spar Customs will have all the Ameripolitan merchandise we make for it available for the first time in CA so bring your cash and help support a charity that supports and keeps real music alive and well.
This is the first show of a series outside of Texas to raise awareness for the Ameripolitan Show, get people to support the charity and attend the Awards Show next year. Many of you have seen a ton of first time acts through San Diego at our events and Ameripolitan Nominees and Winners over the years at the Spar shows..

The Awards show has been running for a decade in Texas and Tennessee featuring amazing talent from around the world helping to build their names and keep these important genres of REAL COUNTRY MUSIC alive and kickin.
This first event will feature a wide range of S Ca acts that Spar Customs works with and feels have a special something going to make a full day of music, dancing and great times at Tio Leos.
The event doors will be at 2PM with the first act starting right at 230PM.
We will use Tio Leos unique layout with the indoor and outdoor stages to keep the music going all day with only 5 to 10 min breaks between. Once an act finishes the crowd can mosey on outside or inside to keep being entertained until 10PM.
* Dale Watson: No explanation needed for this Texas Troubadour Legend and his big range of musical styles in honky tonk, western, real country and more..
*West of Texas are Ameripolitan nominees and bring the Honky Tonk Roadhouse right at you with their originals and varied covers.
*Bodhi Corbett is a Spar favorite with his rowdy Americana Rock n Roll sound from days gone by and this kid knows how to make a joint jump.
* Lil Mo & the Lonesome Crows are a Hillbilly swing band with the old timey feel and sound to move the boots on the dance floor.
* Bad Banana is not to be missed if you love a fireball of a show with their Japanese Rockabilly style and exciting flair on stage. You will move those feet!
* June Clivas & the Ditty Boys add a variety of Western/Country Outlaw and Cow Punk to the show and always entertain.
* Twang Danglers Roadhouse Country have a smooth sound and know how to get a dance floor going throwing a range of styles and originals/hits into their sets.
* Ron Houston & the Berry pickers are gonna kick the day off on our outside stage with an outlaw billy sound that gets you in the right mood for a full day of Ameripolitan music. Start at 2:30PM sharp.
There will be FREE Dance Lessons going between each band and through the day to give you pointers and a perfect place to practice with so many others dancing nonstop. And no we Won't be doing any Line Dancing.
Grab your tickets early, we can only get so many people in Tio Leos and with 8 acts its going to be a packed house all day.
Come down early, each band has been picked for specific reasons and styles of music to give you an example of what Dale's Ameripolitan Awards Show is about.
There will be info on the 2027 Awards Show coming back and Spar Customs will have all the Ameripolitan merchandise we make for it available for the first time in CA so bring your cash and help support a charity that supports and keeps real music alive and well.
This is the first show of a series outside of Texas to raise awareness for the Ameripolitan Show, get people to support the charity and attend the Awards Show next year. Many of you have seen a ton of first time acts through San Diego at our events and Ameripolitan Nominees and Winners over the years at the Spar shows..

Wayne the Train:
Known as "The King of Juke Joint Swing, his performances incorporate jazz, blues, western swing, country and rockabilly styles of music that he began listening to as a kid. His influences include Jimmie Rodgers, Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Hank Thompson, Hank Williams and Hank Snow because they were all in his parents' record collection. Wayne is a living legend with a driving style of music that always gets a joint jumpin!
IV & the Strange band:
Great-grandson of Hank Williams Sr., grandson of Hank Williams Jr., and only son of Hank 3, Coleman spent years waging an internal battle with the expectations thrust upon him by his own lineage. He represented the fourth generation of country music's most legendary family — hence his nickname, "IV" — and the pressure to launch his own career was enormous. Although Coleman would eventually make his mark with Southern Circus — the genre-bending debut from his band, IV and the Strange Band, combining southern storytelling and country textures with 100-watt guitar amps and DIY attitude — he needed to break free first and discover his own musical approach along the way.

The SD Scooter Clan and Spar Customs Productions will be bringing a 2 day Vintage Scooter Rally and Music Weekender to N. County San Diego Oct 18th and 19th.
*Saturday will have a long days ride through our great 2 lane back roads here in N County San Diego hitting some tuck away stops. Around 100 miles with several stops. Please be gassed up and ready.
Location stop times approx and will adjust as needed through the day.
*Ride will meet 9am at the Pit Stop (3825 Mission Ave , Oceanside) Can grab coffee or breakfast if wanted, kicks up at 9:45am.
Ride will head to El Parque next (2659 Reche Rd, Fallbrook) which has drinks and great Mexican food. Should be there about 10:30 and leave approx 11:15.
Gas stop 10 min away to ensure everyone has a full tank for the first long back road section to Temecula.
We will make our way to the Drunken Elephant location (29095 Old Town Front st, Temecula) they have pizza/drinks and next door to a gas station to refill before the next ride segment. Should be there approx 1pm and stay for 40 min.
Next part of the ride will be another long back road of twists and turns through Pala and over to Backdraft Bar and Grill. Fireman themed spot we should arrive about 2:45 and stay until 3:30.
A gas station is next door to Backdraft for a top off on the gas tanks before the last short leg to Belching Beaver Oceanside (1334 Rocky Point dr) for the show approx 4pm.
*Music starts 5PM with Sugar Brown and his smooth reggae riffs, followed by the Scunthorpe Yobs UK Style Oi/Punk, then Cromm Fallon from Las Vegas with their gritty Mod Sounds and finally the Amalgamated Ska with full horn section.
Selectors will be spinning great tunes thru the event.

*Sunday will be a breakfast/Coffee meet up 8am at Buccaneer cafe (1508 S. Pacific St) Kicks up 9am for a coastal ride to some of our favorite spots around the area and along the beach strand.
Scoot will end at the Windmill Food Hall in Carlsbad(890 Palomar Rd) with Jesse Wagner of the Aggrolites going on at noon, followed by the killer roots sounds of the Mochilero Allstars til 4pm.
We also have our Spar Customs monthly car show with over 100 vehicles and VIP parking for Vintage Scooters going that day so it will be a great Sunday. FREE event, all ages, dog friendly, 14 food vendors, Vintage marketplace.

The event will have live music set up by Spar Customs Productions featuring Buzz Campbell & the Heartaches (Lee Rocker from the Stray cats guitar player and Larry Mitchell his drummer) along with Lil Sue and the Cowtippers.
Hot Rods, Classic Cars, Motorcycles and more 9am until 1PM.
100% of proceeds go directly to the vets so please register and support.

After touring for the past decade to the UK, Canada and parts of the USA, world acclaimed Petunia and the Vipers make another breakout tour, with their last four album releases all going to #1 on the Canadian Folk/Blues/Americana charts. Louis Armstrong was once asked what his favorite kind of music was, and his response was simple; “Good music”. Trojanites are an "all-star" reggae, soul, and ska band featuring veteran musicians from prominent bands like The Revivers, Mobtown, and The Untouchables, fronted by vocalists Tony Greene and Malik Moore, known for playing traditional rocksteady, boss reggae, and sweet soul.
The others have been throwing great Mod/Soul sounds out for years and will stir the pot for sure.

Spar Customs Summer's Demise Party at Hennesseys Carlsbad Oct 5th at 11am
Spar Customs Productions is bringing the final 2025 show of our Summer Series at Hennesseys in Carlsbad Village. 11am music starts.
This one is a Tiki/Surf Day of Mayhem and to close out our Locals Summer in style.
Grab your favorite Tiki outfit and come down for some special tiki cocktails and 4 great live acts.
The day kicks off at 11am with Exo-Tiki featuring Thomas of the Paladins on Steel guitar and their swanky lounge style tiki tunes.
Then we jump into some Hot Rod Surf licks w the Venture -A-GoGos tearing it up.
Next are The Shrunken Heads with a variety of both worlds and their Tiki Vibes.
Last a favorite of ours Sea Base, have seen them many times at Tiki events with their spy-fi surf rock soaked in deep-sea tension and low-end menace. Always a crowd favorite and good time.
It's gonna be a party for sure! All Ages, FREE, Dog Friendly, feel free to bring your own chairs. We have canopies and tables/chairs also.
Coaster train station is 100 yards away for those not wanting to drive.
